Doyle McManus has reported on national and international affairs for 33 years from Washington and more than 60 foreign countries -- covering wars, revolutions and U.S. presidential campaigns. His column on the op-ed page of the Los Angeles Times appears in major newspapers across the nation.
McManus has won the National Press Club's prize for reporting on foreign policy four times, most recently for articles on the U.S. occupation of Iraq. He is coauthor of three nonfiction books and appears on PBS's "Washington Week with Gwen Ifill" and other television and radio programs.
